With the new “Gegants i Cabets” gathering approaching in Ontinyent, the association is maintaining the charming tradition of giving a gift to all pupils in nursery, primary and special education schools, thus encouraging the youngest children’s contact with popular culture and local traditions. In this seventh edition, held in 2018, the chosen gift was a traditional deck of cards, combining fun and heritage. I have illustrated it with the figures of Giants, “Cabets” and Bestiary, following the classic model of traditional cards and placing each figure on a representative card.
