«Menuda conciencia» is a set of comic strips created for the first edition of the Premio Internacional de Cómic Ciudad de Badalona-Caixa Laietana de Tiras de Cómic, in which this work was a finalist. To enter the competition, it was necessary to submit ten black-and-white strips linked by a common theme; each strip could stand alone or form part of a serialised story. In this case, the strips function independently, with the connecting thread being a character who embodies the conscience of authorities and leaders whose public discourse is marked by hypocrisy and a simulated moral stance.
