I think this is the first time I have won a prize in a competition. This comic was the winner in the «Por la igualdad y contra la violencia de género» of the XXII Concurso Nacional de Cómics Ciudad de Dos Hermanas. The story is inspired by The Vain Little Mouse, but invents a second part aimed at denouncing abuse and mistreatment that can occur in some relationships. The comic does not reproduce the original tale The Vain Little Mouse; it starts directly from a made-up continuation, showing how small decisions and actions can profoundly affect the lives of those who suffer emotional or psychological violence. It combines humour, social critique, and sensitivity to convey a serious message in an impactful and accessible way.
