The management of the Bonaire Shopping Centre asked me to create a series of illustrations, conceived as cartoon-style jokes, to be printed on the tarpaulins that would cover the construction fence during the various renovations carried out on the premises. The scenes depicted supposed construction workers committing minor disasters or mistakes, with a humorous tone that sought to downplay the inconvenience of the work and make its presence more bearable for the public.
