Illustrations created for the story La Comandita Màgica contra l’epidèmia dels ulls quadrats (The Magical Comandita Against the Square Eyes Epidemic), published by TXTO Editorial, with story and texts by Santiago Sanchis. The work offers a critical reflection on the excessive and uncritical use of mobile devices by children. The narrative revolves around the comandita, a group of popular, well-known characters from the city made up of Jacobo and the Gegants i Cabets (giants and big-headed figures), who take on the role of mediators and guides. Through wit, humour and a sense of complicity, they help children break away from technological dependence, encouraging them to rediscover shared play, curiosity and direct contact with their surroundings.
